Mike Greer - All I Need - 1973from the Sugarbush lp - Between Two Worlds
As the story goes, Winston-Salem native Greer met South Carolina native Don Dixon their freshman year at UNC Chapel Hill. With the help of Greer's hometown pal Robert Kirkland and drummer Jimmy Glasgow they started Arrogance. Their first single released at the end of '69 "Black Death/An Estimation" was one of the first DIY releases and set the stage for such bands as Sneakers, H-Bombs, and later the dB's and Let's Active.
I'm not exactly sure of how it all went down but somehow Greer released this solo album in '73 with the help of his fellow Arrogance buddies along with Wes Locke and David Niblock.

Wesley Locke is Bobby Locke (Robert Wesley Locke) formerly of Rittenhouse Square (the band and the club), now the king of karaoke in Winston-Salem. He, Greer and Niblock had a band called Griblocke for a while. Half the songs from the Greer album are tracks that were recorded for the first Arrogance album. I loved this album, and thanks for putting up this track.

I see David Niblock is on bass.!!1 Is this the same guy that had a band in the early 80's and did a song called "Ballad of the 611"???
Music to be loved! Listening to "Night of Dreams", which is another track on the Sugarbush lp. Sheeet, so fn good...
I recently came across a CD release of this rare record. The name of the UK label that released it is Erebus Records. Says it was remastered at Abbey Road. The quality of the CD is great!!! As I never had the original vinyl copy I was extremely happy to run across this CD. I will be adding a few cuts to the playlist at Comboland Radio!
