(U.S.) Secret Service - As The World Turns - 1980from the Moonlight Records e.p.
(U.S.) Secret Service were, according to Matt Barrett (of The Dads) "possibly the best power-pop band in the triangle during their first incarnation". Sadly with that kind of praise they only managed to leave behind a 4-song ep. It was produced by Don Dixon and engineered by Mitch Easter at The Drive-In. Robert Keely and Chris Chamis were in The Sneakers and H-Bombs (both of which I promise to get to very soon). Also featured was Bob Northcott (of Little Diesel-which I would love to post but sadly don't have anything by them) another Winston-Salem transplant.
Band Members:
Bob Northcott - Guitar, Vocals
Chris Chamis - Drums, Vocals
Gardner Govan - Guitars
Robert Keely - Vocals, Bass
