Just stumbled onto your site looking for the Othermothers' song "88 Seconds in Greensboro." I live in Chicago now but went to UNC-Chapel Hill from '87-'91 and then went to law school at Duke. I'm having a great time reliving those days on your site. I was a fraternity brother of Polvo's drummer and a girl I had a crush on met and eventually married the Sex Police's drummer.

Cheers!

blindly picked up their "field of vision" ep from a used record store in milwaukee. not bad (which is great when you randomly buy records based on name and cover art). Some interesting lead guitar work and busy drumming making for a decent post punk/new wave record of the time.

Michael Slawter, you dog! :) I am frantically trying to find the tape/cd/album that UV Prom did as a follow up to their EP.... it was brilliant, imho...I was dating their sound engineer in college and got to hear it all but never got a copy...what a great band with tremendous potential...
Cheers,
